Byers Street Bistro: This is a great restaurant that is right next to the venue and Stonewall Jackson Hotel. They have southern-style food and an extensive drink menu. We highly recommend it!
Yelping Dog Wine: Cheese plates, sandwiches, and wine. Need I say more?? Okay, I will. This is a lovely spot for lunch or a snack and is in the heart of cute downtown, Staunton.

Classic car museum: Located in the downtown historic district of Staunton, VA, Bruce A. Elder Antique And Classic Automobiles displays important automobiles from the dawn of motoring through the muscle car era.
Woodrow Wilson presidential library and museum: Sitting atop the crest of a hill in downtown Staunton's Gospel Hill historic district is the birthplace of President Woodrow Wilson. The house is often referred to as a manse which is the term the Presbyterian Church uses to identify the residence of their minister. The property now includes our Smith House which contains our gift shop, the museum, historic gardens and the Library and Research Center.
Beer and Wine Tastings: Virginia is a major hub for wineries and breweries on the East Coast. Explore a list of wineries and breweries near Staunton. There are dozens of wineries in the Central Virginia and Blue Ridge region. We got engaged at Pippin Hill and we also love Castle Hill Cidery.
Visit Charlottesville: If you have some extra time, take the 45 minute drive to where Sara and Sebastian live. You can see Monticello, University of Virginia, and learn about the complex history of the area. Make sure to explore the expansive pedestrian downtown area with shops, bars, and restaurants. Some of our favorite restaurants include Bang, Monsoon Siam, Ivy Provisions, El Puerto, and Hot Cakes.
